greenhouse boom

god what a difference a week makes :shock: ,ok everything was growing,but this week everything seems to have shot up,thanks to all the sunshine.i put some courgette seeds in at the weekend and they are up already :shock: ,my tomatos which were beginning to look a bit leggy have bushed out more and cucumber plant is about 5 inchs high
must remember to open greenhouse through the day though as i dont want wilted seedlings

Picking up on opening the greenhouse, I'm not a morning person. Unless you count 2am as morning, that is. So by the time I get down the sun has been up for a fair time and the greenhouse can turn into a cooker.

That's why I fitted autovents - they just open the window and close it again according to the temperature.  Just over £20 each and they last for years. I've also got a solar powered cooling fan in the home greenhouse. Sunnier the day, the more it whirrs along.

I've got a louvre window kit and auto opener for the big greenhouse to fit next.  Ventilation is as important as heating is in winter
