Debris Netting Failure

Something has launched a direct attack on my Debris Netting to get at my Strawberries :(

should think it was the good old black bird , ive seen them attacking my neighbours debri nets for black currants last year ,

as for dead bird , it must have seen it , its thick stuff , birds fault , might be harsh but there you are

Needle and thread, i have use plastic wire to sow up the holes in some i acquired.

Had they already flowered,bees need to get at the flowers,i use the ordinary pea type netting to cover my strawbs

one of my allotment allies had there strawberrys done like this, but it was her neighbour with his scissors who felt like helping himself. shame he didnt get stuck in the net
