debris / shade netting
« on: June 17, 2009, 13:12 »
My local nursery sells what they call 'shade net' for greenhouses. It looks like the debris netting I've seen discussed here.  It's much cheaper than the enviromesh I've been buying.  Can I save my pennies with this?

does this keep out the tiny flies - carrots and cabbaage root flies - or just the butterflies

also which crops like  / don't like this heavier, shadier  net.
thanks
trying to be green except when blue
