Why would you wanna freeze it - eat it fresh so much better. There are loads of things you can make with it.

If you have a glut you can freeze it, but you have to blanch it first, all veggies to be frozen should be blanched first.

I have to agree with the others, I have grown sweetcorn for many years
(mainly for BBQ) I grow about 100 cobs and It takes me quite a long time to get it stripped and into the pans then cool then freeze. But I do microwave some too. I save a whole morning to gaher crops and cook,
so they remain very fresh.

I used to save all the outer leaves as a friend used to dry them out and made these pretty Christmas angles from them for the Christmas tree....
so hows that for recycling!

Yummy, i'm growing 16 plants for the first time this year.

I have just planted out 24 in a 6x 4 arrangement....expext some to be lost to weather/pests...so might get a few decent cobs, its an F1 seed called Butterscotch - anyone tried it before?

Any surplus will  freeze well.  I can't manage to eat 50 cobs in the space of a few weeks
