don't use pellets to sort out slugs,just put a bird table in the middle of your patch low down and feed like mad for a few days then cut back, you'll find that they will help keep slugs under control.

Hey neat idea but what do you do about the squirrels!!  ??  I now have Mum and two babies reeking havoc!!  :roll:  :lol:

Great idea if you don't have pigeons, rats, squirrels or mice around your plot. :cry:

Had 15 cabbages and 15 kale plants eaten to the stork by pigeons over the last week.  Wind blew the net off in a morning storm and by the time I arrive that evening my hard work was their lunch. :oops:

Thats gardening.  Luckily I had some reserves in hand having had a similar, but not as total experience last year with greens. :lol:
