Blind Cauliflowers?

Blind Cauliflowers?

How soon do cauliflowers form heads? I have some pretty healthy greens (about 6-8 inches wide/tall), but can’t see any head growth – are these blind or should I wait a bit longer?

Wait - you don't want heads forming whilst the plants are that small!

So many variables!

Some of mine are 18" across and have not formed heads yet.
