Eglu cube/automatic door, feedback please

you can get something to open the door for you!
Wow i had no idea. Where do you get them?
Mind you we have a sliding door on the hen house so it probably wouldn't work. But it will be handy to know if we decide to upgrade the hen house.

hi we bought ours from flight so fancy (some thing like that) got the timer as well it was all very easy to fit came with very good instructions

I don't have an eglu but I do have a door opener - swear by it!  It's light sensitive but you can get a timer and adapt it.  It slides the door upwards in the morning and back down at night.  Only had a chicken locked out a couple of times when they were new.

  um! A door that the chickens can 'nudge' open sounds al lot cheaper than the auto kind
 I really was drawn to the eglu as it looks so easy to clean without having to clamber inside.
I have since found another one called the lenham 504 or 505 by forsham, very pricey like the eglu but comes apart in simular way so easy to clean.
Does anyone own one, is it 'as good as it looks'?
I am finding that my youngest, a welsummer called maggie is sleeping in the poo tray under the perch at the moment, yuck so searching for design that will not allow this.. she also keeps pooing in the nesting box
