I'm sooooooooo excited!!

Hi all.
Well, I've only gone and done it I've got the BUG :wub:After a couple of years working with reception classes growing veg, Ive got myself an allotment: I am so excited. Hubbie things I am having some kind of crisis ???found out today and have ran down there to see what it looks like: just wonderful!! Ofcourse nothing on it yet but lots of weeds and grass but there will be.
Half of the patch has been dug over recently so the soil is soft, other half is covered in grass.
1st thought: Turn over first half and plant?Slowly dig the other half?
Any ideas of what to put in first?
I am gonna apologise now because I may very well be a pain on this site
will take some pics too. Any help always very much appreciated.

you might want to cover the half thats grassed and weedy with something while you plant the other part, it wont necessarily kill much off but it'll certainly slow down the growth, and maybe stop at least some weeds going to seed and spreading even further.
