Found this hairy little so and so happily eating its way through a gooseberry leaf this morning. Think I've been lucky as it appeared to be the only leaf that he'd been on. Any ideas what variety he is tho? Its not gooseberry sawfly, but he obviously likes gooseberries....(photo to follow)

wow - thats the begger - well it was before it met its maker - then it turned green - must have eaten too many green leaves
