Seeds in cells = good value for money if you sow your own.

Stick the lot in = easier, less fiddling about - pull up the ones you don't want and eat them!!  ;)

Easy peasy.... and loads of tasty little beetroot with more in place to grow on for later.  :)

Sowing direct works well but means you have to keep visiting thew plot to water or seedlings quickly dry out and fail.
Never keep your wish-bone where your back-bone ought to be.
