Seeds in cells = good value for money if you sow your own.

Stick the lot in = easier, less fiddling about - pull up the ones you don't want and eat them!! 

Easy peasy.... and loads of tasty little beetroot with more in place to grow on for later. 

Sowing direct works well but means you have to keep visiting thew plot to water or seedlings quickly dry out and fail.
