I'm already thinging ahead to next year, and after the joy of buying day-olds this year, I would really like to try hatching my own next year... however... I live in France and have no idea where I would get hatching eggs from in France - let alone breed specific.

So... is it possible to send hatching eggs from the UK to France and would you do it?

Hi Casey, I sent an email last nigth to Simon who we get our meat chicks from to ask if he knows anyone in France who does eggs, either for table birds OR laying birds.  I've just got this back from him.  Don't know if its any help to you?

The only person I know over there that is an actual breeder like myself is Pierre Goasduff as I've had eggs from him before but I don't know his address and his English isn't very good. I spoke to him through Hubbard. Don't they have poultry magazines in France or a French equivalent to Yellow Pages they could try? Failing that go through the Hubbard breeders website and try the contact for mainland Europe on there, possibly Paul van Boekholt but I'm not sure without checking.
