Is it a dicky heart?

One of my CLs - probably aged about three years - is worrying me. Her comb, previously nice and red, is looking a darkish red with a blueish/purplish edge. Only noticed this change today. Please advise me what to do/not do. Many thanks.

Sorry it does sound like a heart problem - or it could also be a severe respiratory infection

Could be broody or moulting

Thank you for being so nice and optimistic Charlwood. Unfortunately today she was off her legs and I had to do the deed. Poor little mite couldn't even raise a cheep.
