I love happy endings and i'm so glad you found a good home for him. I know how traumatic it can be. There are some really nice people out there ready to help us when we need it.
All's well that ends well  :)

Shame your neighbours aren't in that catagory though
Staffies are softer than you think.

Hi All

Thanks again for your support.  I had a mail today to say he had settled in well as as I left he was frounting up to a much smaller cock bird but nothing serious.  She said he went to bed right next to another boy so he not only has lots of girlfriends but boy mates too!  She will send me mails and updates and post photos as well.  So alls well that ends well.

Yes a very happy ending for him and me.  My concience is clear which is more than I hope for the moaner.  Last night wrote letter to the council man stating that I now disposed of the bird (to make hime feel bad that I had killed it!).  Also stating that the RSPCA and RSPB were disgusted with his advice re: cat box/cage over night  for aprox 12 hours as it contraviens animal regulations etc.  Whats the betting that I get a snotty letter from him back or that this is not the last I hear on this matter.
