Plant ID - Could this be Comfrey
« on: June 01, 2009, 21:54 »
After trying unsuccessfully to buy some Comfrey plants, I've bought some seeds but before I've sown them I've just noticed these plants at the top of the plot. They look quite like the picture on the seed packet and some other pictures of the plants I've found. Could they be comfrey.

Are you looking for an allotment (full or to share) in South East Sheffield. PM me for details.

defo not comfrey! My plot is covered in it and the dug up roots take very easily. If you want some of mine, let me know  :D
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

Doesn't look right for a foxglove............not like the ones in my garden anyway, the leaves are wrong and there are small leaves between each bud in the picture.
I's going to annoy me now... o what is it
