I'm really impatient for things to get ready to grow so we can start eating. However, just like last year, it's the radishes that are now ready to eat.  I'm sure I sowed multi-colour radish seeds, but only red ones seem to have grown ...

i just had my first homegrown potatoes for dinner!!! scrummy :D
i'm only growing maincrop, so they were not really ready for harvesting, but one plant had got blown over by the wind and then trampled on by the dog, so i thought it was better to dig it up rather than leave it to attract diseases and bugs.
my first time growing potatoes, i'm well chuffed, and they got the seal of approval from my notoriously hard to impress OH too. :D

We're on our second pot full of salad leaves, spaced two weeks apart so that we always have some on the go.  Moved them outside now as found the greenhouse is makig them bolt. We are going to turn into rabbits the amount of salad we are eating!

They look fantastic 8bed.

We too had our first potatoes to-day. 2 seed potatoes in a flower bucket = 3 servings of potato salad.

Been salading now for about a month.

You just can;t beat it, can you?
Liv.
