Small Garden? Our Pics :)
« on: May 29, 2009, 22:18 »
I thought I would take a couple of pics of our small but full plot  :)

As you can see its used for the kids and washing too

We have white onions, red onions, shallots, spring onions, lettuce, 2 kinds of cabbage, cauli, swede, turnip, 2 types of tomato, 2 types of cucumber, charlotte potatoes, beetroot, radish, carrots, garlic, herbs, peas, lettuce, jerusalem artichoke, rhubarb, strawberries, gooseberry, raspberry, loganberry and no idea where planting on courgette and pumpkin (think kids might loose rest of lawn  ) Oh and the bed where the seedlings are close together is our pot luck bed. Kids got a bit seed happy and didn't label    I think thats about it.

Its amazing what you can do with a small garden and some pots. Its our biggest plant up yet. Kinda experimenting waiting for our allotment (6th on the waiting list)

We've aleady had problems with root fly in the radish and slugs attacking the peas but not put off. Still as eager as ever  :D

Wow, it's neat!

I also have a very small plot but I have gone for a slightly more"free-style" look!
ie messy!

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

I like the term deconstructed! Makes it sound arty!
