beans all gone!

not one came up after 2 weeks so decided to investigate and found this, was the only one left out of about 50 beans.





luckily i had sown some in pots!!

Sorry to hear. Seems a lot of us having problems at the mo. Least is closer to the start of season rather than the end so can catch up  ;)

Hi, i think the problem is overwatering, plant with the scar down not too deep water once well and don't water again unless they srart to dry out, if they were sowed in trays sow them in pots or something deep.

overwatering?? i thought it was the wireworms eating them?!

turns out they are not wireworms at all, just shows that the old guys don't know everything (one of the old boys on our plots told me they were). i know think they are baby centipedes.

wireworms are yellow.  Those aren't wireworms - trust me, after last year on our plot I know wireworms.   :mad:
