Does look like Alchemilla mollis although the colour isn't quite right.
Useful plant for difficult places - will grow almost anywhere and in any soil
Has attractive leaves covered in fine hairs which hold drops of water after rain.
Sprays of yellow/green flowers are good filler with other cut flowers and can be dried or glycerined.
The problem spreading is by self seeding and can largely be controlled by taking the shears ( or strimmer! ) to them straight after flowering. Cut hard back they will soon make a mound of fresh new leaves
