Sea weed question.

Understand this is really good for the garden. Just got four black bags full of the stuff. What do I do with it?.

Add it to your compost is one suggestion (body wraps also sprang to mind but I guess that's not what you're wanting :wacko:)

Glad I spotted this post. Know it's great for the plants and I live about 3/4 mile from the sea. A friend who lives on the shore is going to alert me when the seaweed appears as it only appears at certain times here. Am using Maxicrop liquid general feed and tomato feed this year as it's supposed to be a good product. Thanks for the website info.  :lol:

in the Heligan kitchen gardens it is just spread on the soil as crops are lifted, and dug in during the winter. Simples :)..not washed or composted...just dug in :)

i use a thing called SM3 seaweed feed but i doubt you could make that :lol: apart from composting i don't know any other things you can do with it :unsure:

Since you asked Pumpkinpatch, here is the professional info re seaweed bodywrap use. You can easily make the powder by drying seaweed and pulverising it ;)
