If you don't mind, Yabba, (tough if you do), I'll move this to general gardening as it is plant related.

Oh - and where's the peas???
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I'll attempt to survive the shock at being transplanted to the correct forum ... I think I'm hardened off enough ;)

The peas are the big green bush at the far end of the bed on the right ;)

.. actually, they're the sugar snaps ( thought they only grew to 3'? :O ), the peas are just behind them ;)

Wowee Yabba -- what space you have. If this is under cover I'm thinking acres to plant them all out into  :D

I'm pretty sure I'll be posting a fair few pics when they're all in flower ... it's an awesome sight :D

We used to just fill the potting shed beds with soil and root the tubers up in that, nowadays we use trays as it makes things far easier to shuffle around when we run out of space.

We were about a month late sparking them off this year, normally it'd be late january / early february, but we have heated beds and a the potting shed gets a fair amount of daylight ;)

WOW!

I think you have more space for plants than we live in here!!! Looking forward to seeing them in their full glory. Can i ask, why you don't let them flower until aug?
Kate
Always thankful for advice!

I probably have less space for growing food than you do ;)

We don't let them flower until august because we show them and our first show is tail end of august, start of september ( southport flower show ), our last show is about 6 weeks later ( on a long year ) ... the ones in our own lil patch at home are left to do what they want, and they tend to flower from may/june until first major frost in december
