We've got builders on our school field.... no children or other little critters just builders, bull-dozers, fumes and noise...  :(

Normally the school field is plastered with visiting birds on and off through the year. We planted the whole long perimeter fence and it looked beautiful - all sorts of native shrubs and trees.

Sadly, once the new school is finished the excess (??) land is to be released for sale for housing!  :(

Not sure where the children will run and play and let off steam

In the streets terrorizing (sp?) all and sundry! I hate it when playing fields get sold off.   >:(   Then people moan that kids sit at home on the computor all day or hang around in gangs.

Do you know where your new boundary is going to be Learner? Sounds like you are really up against it  :( :( but I was thinking maybe you could plan some new planting for the autumn ..................

When do you 'move in' to the new building?
