just a thought do you pinch out peas like you do with sweat peas to increase crop ?

No. Harvest from the bottom upwards. When all picked- cut off the stem and leave root to rot in the ground. Good source of nitrogen.

You may get different answers to that. I am growing 3 rows and sow a third row every 2 weeks. I am half way. With peas if you do have a glut it is easy to freeze them. Some people sow all the seeds to use the land afterwards for winter brassica.
