I gave recipe, a ten mile round tour  to collect aspragus  and then to to Wootoon to get their blue cheese, anyone can make a quiche out of that!

Oooh, I've been wanting to try some flavoured vodka or gin or something this year and thought I'd have to wait for soft fruit season.  Seems not!

How rhubarby is the flavour?  And should the lemon peel be grated or in large strips?

Quite a good Rhubarb taste - depends how thin/thick your sticks are.

I use the fine grate on my old fashioned gratter for the Lemon.

It's quite hard to leave it for 3 months though  - I don't think I've ever made it!!!!!
