Hi have just bought 10 two week sasso chick with the intend to kill them for the table.  However having seen them I now realise I will be unable to to the deed myself.  My Question is:  Are there businesses that you can bring your birds to be killed and prepared?
I live in Somerset - Taunton area.

I would personally contact my local abattoir and ask them, as they would be able to advise you.  You should be able to find them in you local directory.

I have a friend in Somerset, and she takes hers to be dressed and slaughtered for her.
I'll find out where she takes them and report back!

Would your local butcher be able to help? I know most of them buy them in now already dressed, but if you've got an old boy as a butcher he might be able to help of advise.

we take our's back to where we buy them, they only charge  £1 each to slaughter and dress them .
