ive got my peas out now and as ive grown them indoors they are pretty well established now perhaps 3/4 inch tall.however ive been told by one old chap that they will all die cos its way too early yet.do you think they are safe?

dont know but mine are out and have been for a week now. if they die just plant some more it not too late.

Hi Mum of 3,

I planted my peas last Tuesday evening under a cloche, some Early onward and some Hurst Grenshaft. I am really hoping to see some activity soon.

A bit of well-rotted manure and some mushroom compost to keep them fed!

I'll let you know how I get on!

i sow them right up till june ,just cos it say early dont mean ya have to plant em early fizzyliz  :wink:  :lol:

i have some in the greenhouse which i was thinking about plantng out, could i do so if i protected them with bubble wrap like a cloche? it says on the packet they an be planted out earleir than now so i am prossuming they are hardy. (never done peas before)
