Has anyone used Stockholm Tar to prevent feather pecking

It is very messy stuff! Not sure how effective it is, purple spray is good as well as containing an antiseptic. There is usually a reason for pecking, do you have just one hen pecking? or are they all doing it?

stockholm tar is messy, but it works, but make sure that you warm it up before you use it as it is quite thick, and wear gloves.

i've tried stockholm tar and i personally wouldn't bother with it again, by the time the other hens have worked out they don't like the taste you've got a bald bird anyway.

bought some stockholm tar today, i held the bird, wife painted it on using pastry brush,went on quite easy,hope it does the trick.
