Most of the UK rain is courtesy of France!! we have had a very wet week - but very very welcome for the vegetables!  they say thanks a lot - I had nearly emptied one water but before Tuesday - roll on summer!!
'gardening' in Northern France - on allotment style sized plot, fruit, veges, chicken and geese and flowers of course

retired and love the countryside

2" more than us then...I  measured our rainfall earlier..very scientifically.

I put my forefinger in one of my Morrisons pots ( no holes yet) and it was deep, well past my knuckle..I came in and measured it..

Simples ;)

Rained here again this evening - lots - we certainly needed it. My onion patch was like the wild west.... all dust!

But.... once it has all had a good soaking the tap needs easing off. Can't be doing with soggy onions once June arrives  ::)
