There's been loads of rain on the north Kent Coast this last 48 hours, I reckon we've had well over an inch as measured in my high tech rainguage an empty bucket left by the greenhouse

It peed down all night and into this morning.  Checked the water butt and the pipe was blocked with moss from the roof, so not much got through.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.  Me very unhappy now.

It rained a bit in the night....didn't get very deep..but at least some.
Keeps clouding over today....but no more rain yet

Well... in the dish I left out in the garden there was only about 1/8 of an inch of water

Even the cricket matches on the village green don't seem to bring in the rain clouds

My lottie is about 200yards away from there.  I can see the oast house cowls from the door of my shed - It's lovely.

We've had 9am to 5pm type rain - steady stuff that soaks in rather than running off and no wind to speak of so the ground should have benefited. Of course it rained off the cricket and followed me doing a thorough watering of the plot yesterday.

Oh well - won't be watering for a day or two then.
