Most of the night from the radar pictures, but there is only a small amount of rain between Bedford and Cambridge, then LOADS over Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk. So we've still had hardly any  :mad:

Not sure where exactly your are, oldbean but I've just looked up a local weather station in the locality you describe. (Sandy).
 
At the time of this post it records 0.4mm of rainfall.

We've had 6.8 mm & it's still coming down well, so yes, it does seem to have avoided you!

rain at last!!! still drizzling here in coventry had a couple of good downpours last night at last it may have softened up the last bit of the plot i need to dig and given my spuds a good drink :D :D :D

Still little more than drizzle for 2 months. The new part of the plot I am trying to work is still like concrete.

Yesterday we had drizzle!

Today we have rain, tomorrow and Sunday more rain forecast!

Yes we need rain but not when I want to go  to the plot >:(

hopefully the ground on the allotment may be diggable after this tho - the other week i broke a spade caus the ground was so hard!
