In the US I used to plant Marigolds around my garden, and use dried blood meal between the rows. Not sure if you can get that here. Make sure not to get it on the leaves.  Also see if you can get some human hair or dog hair to put down between rows too. Sounds awful, but it used to work for me. I had a big hairy dog at the time and I would comb and brush him to get his fur when it was shedding time. You could try a hair salon or a dog grooming salon.

Rabbit netting. Needs to be small enough mesh (22mm I think, smaller than normal chicken wire), 1 M high, and then bend over about 6" - 9" on the outside and either lift turf and bury, or just lay on the grass and let it grow through.  (Don't bury it vertically - theory is that rabbits come up to the fence and scrabble, and find the wire - if it is vertical they will dig under it)

Gun, trap, ferret, terrier, fox, wall, chicken wire, netting, luck – in that order!

I had just that problem last year.  Rabbits + pigeons = decimated seedlings.  This year everything is covered with netting or fleece.

This is a family friendly forum, therefore I have removed the link to the picture of the gun.

In reality, most allotment members are unlikely to be able to use guns as it is a public space and the risks are too high.

Other, more constructive, suggestions might include rabbit fencing.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Like Yorkie says shooting is not in most cases a viable option on allotment plots, not mind I have anything against hunting etc. but all in it's place eh  :)

a bit ott, but i respect your desicion.
i live in the countryside and weapons are used against pests on a daily basis.infact as landowners we have an obligation to keep our land pest free.
as regards pics of an air rifle,i think todays children play far more violent games on their pcs.
netting will be fine in urban areas, but some of us more rural folk prefer to shoot and eat.
