Hi do chicks need food left in with them all night or should i remove,As at the mo am leaving water and food in all night

Hi they are 3 weeks old keeping them in the house(as in our house not chicken house) with a heat lamp,They are Amberlinks, I have been told they can go out in to hen house around 5-6 weeks Isthis right

As they are so small and you have them under the heat lamp, I always keep their food and water in with them as they will feed all the time they can see.  Helps build their strength up.

Then once they are out in their house, its different as it will be dark at night and they will just sleep and not eat or drink in the dark.

leave it in till your ready to move them outside .. if you dont have a covered coop leave the food container inside the coop
still alive /............

Unless you have my silly chicks that don't care about the dark and come out when I go near and squark for more food  - don't understand it - maybe it's because they're Polands and always have partial darkness with their helmets  :blink:
