One of my girls (no idea which one) has been laying really thin shelled eggs for a couple of weeks now. So thin that there is always a broken egg in the box waiting for me. I have upped the oyster shell and lowered the green they get to try and combat it, but nothing is helping.

Anyone have any other ideas what it could be and how to sort her out?

I understand that extra Vit D - from cod liver oil - helps them to absorb the calcium.  It might be worth trying a little of that added to the pellets.  You could also sprinkle on a bit of limestone flour - from horse places.  Hope you get it sorted.

I've been putting limestone flour and cod liver oil in the pellets of mine to try and sort out the girl who is laying shell-less eggs. Not getting anywhere but I suspect the problem is with her as she has only ever laid 2 eggs with shells.
