There's been a sudden stop with the change of weather here - must be the nasty wind that has done it. Sudden change from warm to chilly and windy.

Yep the spuds have suddenly started, but the weather is cold, wet and windy in Great Longstone Derbyshire so my toms, beans and herbs are a bit slow yet. Onions going well though..... lettuce going well and the spinach has just popped up, brochili on its way upwards very slowly, spring onions take forever though.

Have a good year and keep at it. :)

When is the sun going to ever shine again? 8)

All my stuff is just holding its own its too cold here and the wind is fierce. I had to put fleece over my lettuce and rockett. The only up side is the flea beetle seems to be not as active so come on the peas.

I have spinach flying up I noticed this morning after three or four days of rain and wind, amazing, but the grass is growing quick too. My new nine raspberry bushes have all shoots coming on as welll. Just now need sun in the east midlands, we will send some rain to Kent, our soil is soggy now thanks.
My lettuce and cabbage are being attacked by the rain loving slugs which are suddenly appearing everywhere.
