finally got parsnips

my first year on my plot was brillant i got very long massive parsnips  the second an third year i got none at all but this year i have 62 growing and i am so happy  . i have tried 3 different methods and all have worked .

hi there, i tried putting them in little inch deep water logged trenche , then the toilet roll filled with wet compost and i then decided to try flower pots with wet compost and that method has worked a treat , one good thing about that is that u know where they are so u wont dig them up thinking they are weeds , once they are big enough then i will tip them gentle over an re place the compost and seedlings back into the same hole .

but it helps if u do have fresh seeds i never really bele :Dived that until i tried it
