Have you got your units muddled up PL :blink: 60cm between beds is only 2ft which is normal
If your communal footpath is only 40cm  (16in) it's very narrow, you couldn't get a wheel barrow up it :blink:

To cut a long story short, I had to ask the council to mark out the boundaries, and then I asked about the footpaths and was told they are 40cm wide.  In case you don't believe me, this is my new communal footpath that the council (not me!) had marked out - does that look 60cm?

Blimey.............I assumed you were confused, sorry but it just didn't seem possible...............but obviously it is

Not really try putting your feet one in front of the other in the width of the path as most peoples feet are 30cm long or there about.
Alternativly you could use a tape measurer
