Hi guys

Im new to this and inherated the chickens on my plot i took over a couple of days ago.  I have two eggs today and wondered how long you can keep them for before they go bad?

About 2-3 weeks longer than the ones you can buy in the shops

Sorry Aunt Sally, but is that 2-3 weeks, or 2-3 weeks longer than bought ones? How long do you get on bought ones?

Hi guys

Im new to this and inherated the chickens on my plot i took over a couple of days ago.  I have two eggs today and wondered how long you can keep them for before they go bad?

We eat ours within 21 days (3 weeks) that is how long an egg would last (if not longer) under a hen if it was fertile!If your unsure of an eggs freshness, put it in a bowl of water if it sinks and lays horizontal it fresh, if it sinks but stands vertically on the bottom it older but still ok to eat, if it floats!!!! BIN IT
