I have lots of veg seedlings ready to plant in my porch, and my raised bedding nearly complete....... I have leeks not in pots just soaked (biggest problem) where shall i put them? then I have in pots all doing nicely...Cauli, brocolli, runnerbeans, sweatcorn, brussell sprouts and cabbage!!! my porch gets very warm and I only have a 4 tier plastic greenhouse....the beds will be completed by Sunday, we have been given them by a pal too early, what shall I do? what can be planted this weekend, I don't want to spoil things as we have done alot of hard labour with the bedding and its my first year...my veg books are in the post so I am relying on the expert advise here.

If your leeks are still like blades of grass (mine are) just put them in some soil anywhere - pots, a bed and let them get a bit bigger.
As for the other stuff - keep them watered until your beds are ready. The brassicas will be fine outside, a bit early for sweetcorn and runner beans, especially in Newcastle. Keep them in the plastic greenhouse for a couple of weeks but watch they don't get frizzled in the sun. You might have to put a bit of newspaper over them until the rain starts this weekend...
