Save yourself some (lots of) work.
« on: April 23, 2009, 19:00 »
If you haven't read it, get a copy from the library and do so. Bob Flowerdew's "The No Work Garden" is a brilliant way of avoiding unnecessary work and heartache over things that didn't matter anyway. Newbies would find so many gems in there, all the worry should vanish. The title is not quite accurate as there is still a fair bit of work to do, but there's so much you needn't bother with at least what you do will be useful and not just performing an age old ritual.

Off to the library tomorrow, anything the saves work is a good thing bye me. There is so little time anyway so I’m willing to try anything that will give me a little more time to spare.
Or maybe I just have to many hobbies.

Hi, it's not a pony tail it's a pigtail ( plaited ) he came and gave us a talk at our garden club years ago before he was famous, a real interesting guy.

I've seen it first hand.

Yes, there is no hope.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

What if you have pony tail, beard, muschtashe and are 6 foot seven and weigh 19 stone with very little fat.

Trust me. I know what I'm saying.

Yabba stand up for your stashe.  Gandhi, Magnum, Borat - all great men. ZZ Top - you know you want to. Ponytail - just says guru to me. You know I am right.

Shameless in Hull.

Refs for those interested in pursuing a more hairsuit lifestyle  :tongue2:

I don't mind anyone having a pony tail, beard and tash - it's those bl**dy sandals with socks I can't stand, they also look bad on men.
It's all too much!

Nope the plait just makes me turn right off, sorry people, he may be great and a no-dig guru, but he gives me the creeps. Im sticking with Johns books
