I am using your fantastic way of growing peas !! I am a complete novice at this, so I apologise for asking silly questions. Do you think i'd be able to grow french beans the same way or would I be better going for the traditional cane method

Any advise is greatfully received.

Hi flowergirl, welcome to the forums. Nice to see another Leicestershire member. If you're talking dwarf French beans, I find no need whatsoever to support them.

I grow them like this.

Double rows, 9" between each plant (star), 18" between the double rows. They've always been self-supporting.
