[Beetroot queen]

Another reason why we should all be at it, in the past I was a nightmare for over buying and throwing stuff (fruit and veg) straight onto the compost heap.

Now I know how much effort it all takes and know how thrilled I was to eat cabbage grown a stones throw from our home, I am converted.

My only question is can veg died from being looked at to much, I seem to think a bean stalk may errupt from our lottie and cant stop watching it.

I even said to hubby those strawberries have doubled in a single week, they havent but they do look much perkier  :happy:

You want to bet they really are much perkier - lots of things in the garden have changed dramatically after just one week of warmth & sunshine.  My Japanese onions have definitely got distinctive bulb shapes after some much needed rain, warmth & sunshine
