i'll tell you what it reminds me of and thats an aloe-vera plant the way the leaves come out the centre.

no flower Dan. just the leaves there.   big one is the plan view... the top left is the side profile with the roots hanging.  good job i didnt bust out my AutoCad2006 on you lot

is it that one has a bulb type flower and we used to bend a stem over it then flick the end at mates ? cant remember the name

it looks like some kind of plantain ( hoary plantain)? by your leaf drawing with the veins running from tip to tip
