This is a new one to me and several others on the site ,some sheds have had their locks neatly cut off and placed on the floor but the doors are still shut and nothing has been taken,its all been reported to the police but why go to that trouble and take nothing one shed near mine had £400 worth of machinery inside. any ideas.

Someone trying to make a point that locking the doors encourages theft....was it the plot-owner/council?

ANYONE doing this sort of thing is disturbed. Unfortunately the best that can happen is they get locked up. The better solution would be composting.

We recently had 3 sheds broken into,nothing taken.Beats me

I would def say that they were looking for items that can be sold quickly without trace, older machinery ect,, newer stuff has too many traceable things,, the other thing is though i,m not 100%sure on, certain fertlizers ect when treated in different ways can give somesort of a high! if you understand what i mean.  bit like the plastic rubbish bins when burned the idiots breath in the fumes and get a kick from it.
