My winter planted garlic is starting to look a little yellow - surely it can't have exhausted the soil already ? I did throw some growmore over it the other day but it hasn't helped.

Nothing to worry about or should I break out the tom food / miracle grow ?

On a side note I'm starting to see slim trails

 They could have got a little cold over night . Try a high nitrogen feed Nitrate Of Soda
 can work well.

I sympathize, my garlic too is just starting to yellow at the ends of the oldest leaves. I gave them handfulls of poultry pellets a month ago, so i will watch to see what response you get to your post.

What are slim trails?

I wouldn't have thought they'd be cold..  Its not been below 6 at night here lately. Might make some "chicken poo tea" to see if that picks them up.

Its like slime but without the 'e'  as in slug trail... its Friday and its been a hard day
