Out picking wild asparagus 2 days ago and came across a new born lamb abandoned/lost- the herdsman walks the flock to different places each day.  The poor thing could hardly stand so we took it to a neighbour (He has goats) he kept it for the night and fed it and it is now with a friend of his, he said it won´t got for food, it is a very lucky baby lamb! He thinks it was only 1-2 days old at the most.
Went out for lunch today, there was suckling lamb on the menu- didn´t have it!

well done you!  I'm an animal lover and live out in the country in Ireland.  We have loads of animals (strays) dumped out here - it's very sad.  We had a kitten trying to milk our (MALE) dog a little while ago, and theres probably 15 other stray cats and a few dogs around at the moment.  We of course still get the odd escaped cow and sheep!
