In an ideal world, you'd grow them seperately, which I am fortunate to be able to do. Tomatoes like a dry heat, whereas cucumbers like humidity.

You can create a "micro climate" by surrounding the cucumbers plants with fleece or polythene to build up the humidity.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

This is what I will be doing. Setting up a frame around the cukes to keep the humidity up.

i grow both in my plastic greenhouse, with no special treatment for the cue!
In hot countries they are both grown out in the fields, in the sun, no problems

   Noooooo don't let that happen, you can always get a shed later or make one.

Shed versus greenhouse - no contest as Hindy alludes to!

Shall we send our errrr - "representatives" round. They can be very persuasive! 8)

yeppppiiieeeeeee told my other half about the errr ' representatives' coming round and he bowed down and i win yipppeeee just waiting for the lady to ring to say when we can go and pick it up, but she did say that are some panes of glass missing so i will look round for some once i get it...
the only reason he wanted it for a shed was so he can have his cup of tea/coffee and biscuits.. and use his genney for the kettle.. :D told him he can still use the greenhouse for that till we get a shed

so smile all round...(will post some pick of my allment soon the be4 and after )
