Anyone picked up Birds from Blackpool
« on: March 31, 2009, 18:34 »
I remember reading someones post on here recomending some farm in blackpool having POL Hens. There is a link in the listings for JUBILEE FARM. has anyone got thier chickens from here? How much are the birds and what breeds do they have?

(i have tried ringing Jubilee farm for the past 2 days, no luck and sent an email.)

Thanks Sparrow.

Well that was odd, i was in Blackpool, it was a day out in blackpool with the family. I thought i would kill 2 birds with one stone ;)  on the way back i visited the farm to pick up chickens..... Nobody there! ??? Very strange i hung around for 20 mins or so talking to the horse at the gate, and untill the 2 year old started getting board.
I even knocked on next door and there was no answer there too. it was like the twighlite zone.
I was close to leaving money pinned to the door and taking a couple of chooks myself.
There were chickens and ducks everywhere on the farm so they are still there, but obviously there owners are hard to get hold of.
