caravan
« on: March 30, 2009, 23:15 »
just been given a caravan today its huge! so huge in fact it got a few scrapes whils tbeing pullled into the allotment. absolutely chuffed got somewhere to sit and enjoy my allotment in full bloom, rain or shine. now the work starts finding a spot thats ideal for it. and gettin the rest of the plot poisoned, dug over manured and planted! i aim to do all of this within a three week period. i am gonna break my back to ensure a succesfull year of growing and enjoying my new little place of peace tranquility and endless supply of vitamins!

Congrats and enjoy :D

On our site a caravan would be a definite 'no-no'  :nowink:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Caravan on the plot sounds lovely.... tea-making, bacon sandwiches, window with a view and a snooze-couch for those holiday moments. Lucky thing!  :)

You haven't got a shower and a loo too have you?

I'm sure we would not be allowed to have one on our site or someone would have tried it before now. It's sheds only (or greenhouses / polytunnels).  :(

we have to submit  plans for shed ::) and the committe decide whether or not you can have one! A caravan.... they'd have to have a sit down and few committee meetings to think about that before saying no :D

Sounds great, but think I'd rather take it to the seaside.

Right this moment I think I'd be tempted to hook a caravan up to my bike and cycle off into the very far distance.  :(

I really do need to get away from it all (especially work) and enjoy a few hours on the plot in peace and quiet.
