Using string instead of canes

Just read the thread title properly.. "string instead of canes".... I knew it said that really but...

when we do use canes it is hard to get away without making use of a bit of string here and there unless....

you cut up your old tights  they make beautiful ties (not round the neck sort) - Great for securing all sorts of things as well as tender stems. They are very tough and very strong.
