The "Dig in " campaign starts next month and from April 10th FREE SEEDS will be available via the website www.bbc.co.uk/digin .Gardeners World and CBBC Green Balloon club are involved to encourage everyone from toddlers to Grannies to take part. A Dig In tour is also planned. Early days yet but keep an eye on the website for transmission dates and info.

Thanks for the info - my children are already members of the green balloon club so they will love this.

It looks like Gardeners World will be in on the Veg growing too as they're moving from Berryfields and doing much more about veg growing and thriftiness.  Should be a good series fingers crossed.  Went a bit down hill after Monty (my opinion anyway).  Although Toby Buckland seems to be a good choice for a new presenter.

I'll be interested to watch this, but my heart also sinks a little as it means loads more people sign up onto lotty waiting list I manage (already 60+) - the majority expecting their plot to arrive looking as weed-free as GW's!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
