big clumps of earth
« on: March 24, 2009, 12:45 »
Hi,

I dug my plot yesterday & raked it today but I'a left with a lot of clumps of mud.
What's the best way to break them up? Will I have to use a spade & brute force?

Wait till they're sort of half dry and wack 'em with the back of the fork
Well that's what i do espescially if i've got the hump about something or nothing ::)
Then you can usually rake again and it's ok

Well, I won't be doing this in the next few days as it rained last night & today. I was going to go today but after having been at work for 11hours from 5am to 4pm I felt a bit knackered!!! :D

I might give it a go tomorrow or at least go have a look.
